From our longstanding support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association to our educational programs and scholarships, our philanthropic efforts are aimed at breaking down barriers to education and empowering individuals.

Learn more about our four major initiatives:

1. MDA Campaign

We are proud to share our journey in aiding the fight against muscular dystrophy, a cause close to our hearts. Mometrix provides support to the Muscular Dystrophy Association through our annual MDA campaign. By donating to the MDA, our goal is to help find a cure for the many different types of muscular dystrophy.

Sponsoring our annual MDA campaign is our own Jay Willis, whose son has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).

Since 2011, we have raised over $100,000 for the MDA. Through our donations, we aim to empower the brilliant minds working tirelessly to find a cure for various types of muscular dystrophy, including SMA.

We understand that our contributions are more than financial support; they represent hope for countless individuals and families affected by these conditions.

2. GED Partnership Program

Mometrix has started a buy-one-give-one initiative that puts GED study courses in the hands of those who need them most. For every Mometrix study guide someone purchases from their site, we provide a GED prep course to one of our non-profit, adult-education partners.

As each Mometrix customer studies and prepares for their test, someone from an underprivileged background is getting that same opportunity.

Mometrix is excited to empower individuals to break through socioeconomic barriers, reduce economic disparities through education, and unlock new opportunities through their achievements in the testing process.

3. Scholarships

For many people, one of the largest barriers standing in the way of education is the cost of tuition. It’s important to us that students have every opportunity to achieve their academic goals, which is why we decided to start an annual scholarship contest in 2015.

Now in our 10th year of this contest, Mometrix has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to 60+ students all across the country.

Scholarships are available for anyone who is planning to attend a US-based college in the upcoming fall semester. Whether you’re currently in your senior year of high school or about to enter your senior year of college, we encourage you to apply!

4. Free Resources

Mometrix is all about making studying easier and more effective for students, which is why we provide a multitude of free online resources with Mometrix Academy. These free resources include practice tests, video tutorials, test anxiety help, testing tips, exam checklists, and more.

We also provide in-depth explanations of what you can expect to see on your exam. Topics include: the kind of questions, the subjects covered, and how the test is structured.

Mometrix Academy is one of the many resources we provide as part of our overall Mission to help you maximize your potential by providing the resources and information you need to pass your exam.
