The WEST-E Science exam is designed to measure the requisite skills and knowledge needed for teaching science in Washington public schools. The test consists of approximately 110 multiple-choice questions and lasts 2 and a half hours. Question content is broken down into 4 topical categories: Physical Science, Earth and Space Science, Biological Science, and Scientific Processes and Inquiry.
