Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS)-The Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) is a set of subject-area exams administered to all students in the state. Students take the science and social studies examinations in grades five, eight, and eleven, and the mathematics, reading, and writing exams in grades three through eight, and then once again in high school.
