In order to become a licensed elementary educator in Oregon, individuals must take the ORELA Elementary Education Exam. This test consists of 2 subtests. Each subtest contains 75 questions and lasts an hour and a half. The content of the exam is divided into 5 domains. Subtest 1 consists of (I) Reading and English Language Arts, and (II) Social Studies. Subtest 2 consists of (I) Mathematics, (II) Science, and (III) The Arts, Health, and Fitness.
