Preoperative Nursing
As we explore surgical nursing, this NCLEX review video is the first in a series of perioperative nursing videos. We will focus on the preoperative phase – getting a history & physical, patient education, and a pre-op checklist, including the Universal Protocol. We will also look at legal & ethical issues, including informed consent and advance directives.
